About Fiordland Temperate Rainforest

Part of the UNESCO Te Wahipounamu site. The kakapo is the heaviest parrot, with only 250 alive. The kiwi is flightless and nocturnal. The tuatara is a reptile from the dinosaur era. One of the wettest places on Earth with 7,500 mm/year.
