About Danum Valley

One of the best-preserved lowland rainforests in Borneo, never logged. Over 320 tree species per hectare. The canopy reaches 70 m and trees over 200 years old are common. Over 120 mammal species. The Danum Valley Field Centre is one of the top tropical research stations in the world, making this one of the most studied tropical forests on Earth. The dawn chorus of gibbons is unforgettable.
